I Need A Good Read!

I'm in need of some new reads!
Spring break starts next weekend and I'm in desperate need of some good books since I'll actually have time to read! So I need some recommendations!

I've been thinking about reading Water for Elephants,
have any of y'all read it? Recommend it?

Anyways.. what are some of y'alls suggestions for good reads?
I'm hoping to hit the bookstore this weekend in preparation!

and lastly, thanks so much for all of your wonderful suggestions about the lipstick post from earlier! I think I'm going to take the plunge and hit up the make-up counter ASAP, but probably still use a gloss OVER the lipstick. I'm not ready to be SUPER bold yet. ;) But I'll keep you posted!

Love y'all!

I heard Water for Elephants is a great book! I am thinking about reading it myself! I just read The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards and that was really good and then I can't help but promote anything written by Jodi Picoult, I just think she's amazing! Let's us know what you decide to read- I am always looking for new books myself!!

Erin

Nicholas Sparks has a great new book called Safe Haven. I just love his books! Also...I HIGHLY recommend Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. A friend of mine insisted that I read it and I'm so glad I did...I could not put it down. I had it read in a few days! I'm getting ready to start Water for Elephants...I've heard great things about it :) Enjoy your reading!

3. The Last Song (good spring summer read and much better than the movie)

4. The Happiness Project

5. The Help I haven't read it yet but everyone says it's really good. I have it on hold at the library

I recommended a book to my mom called Blue Latitudes and she absolutely loved it! It's about Captain Cook and his adventures in the South Pacific. If you like historical stuff (with a hint of tropics) thats perfect. Enjoy your spring break! I'm on mine too :)

I tried to read Water for Elephants but it was a disaster! Everyone said it was really good, and I'm sure they are right, I just couldn't deal with the conditions the people and animals live in.
