Jeans & Rain Do Not Mix

There is nothing worse than soaking wet jeans up to your knees
and if you've never experienced this monstrosity, consider yourself lucky.

Yesterday, it rained buckets. I repeat, BUCKETS
As in, it rained throughout the night, and the entire day.
And if you're in college, and have to walk a mile around campus during the day, Rain is not a good thing.
Particularly when you are wearing jeans.

please enjoy this creep-tastic picture I took on my hike to biology. Here, we see a boy with a very bad case of wet jeans. Poor guy, This is exactly what makes your 2 hour class completely miserable. P.S. Don't judge my creeper photog skills ;)

In fact, I'm not really sure what outfit is good with rain.
But I DO know, jeans are not.
Sitting in class with wet jeans is:
 A. Gross
B. Cold (because they take 10 years to dry)
C. VERY bad if you sit on your feet sometimes, because your butt gets wet.
(You know that position where you cross a leg under and sit on your ankle? sounds awkward typing it out, but hopefully you get the idea)

And on that note,
I look forward to my Spring Break which will begin at approximately 12:15 tomorrow, and here's to hoping it's a rain-free break!

Hope y'all are staying dry!

HAHA, I just laughed out loud at your pic! So funny! And, I could not agree more about your analysis of wet jeans. Rain boots have helped solved the problem for me...but I hate how uncomfortable rain boots are! Yay for Spring Break starting tomorrow!!

I hated walking to class in the rain. Especially when it would rain sideways and you would still get wet even if you had an umbrella! UGH!

It's raining buckets here today and I dread taking the dogs out later. Jeans do take forever and a day to dry. I hope you enjoy your Spring Break!

That's how I looked with my old Sperry Top-Siders until I got my Sperry rain boots, now I am completely dry!

Ugh! I know I exactly what you're talking about...especially the part about sitting on your feet. Somehow I always forget that my jeans are soaking wet (even though I'm freeezing cold!), sit on my foot and get my butt wet too.

Happy Spring Break! Hope it's sunny and dry :)

Ok. College campuses and rain are evil. Our campus is super hilly, which means puddly city! Yulllccchh! Rain boots. Except mine are messed up and leak. Wet socks in rainboots may be worse than wet jeans. Maybe.
