Terrapin

Terrapin is a local beer company in Athens, and touring their brewery has been on my bucket list for quite a while now.

Well it just so happens.. it's been on Ben's bucket list too, so while he was in town over the weekend we made sure we got it crossed off.

Naturally it was 106 degrees when we went on Saturday.
and inside the brewery?
It was blazing hot.
But well worth it.

Bonus? You get awesome pint glasses.
Boom.
We were happy people.

We both like trying new beer,
so Terrapin was right up our alley.
I'm kind of feeling a brewery tour road trip on my bucket list now...

We shall see. ;)

 Cheers!
Have you been to any breweries?
 Spill.

I want to know your favorites, and favorite beers... because I love finding new ones!

I love it. Sounds like something I would do! I went to the Guinness Factory in Dublin, Ireland. And if you ever go to Boston, you need to go to the Sam Adams brewery.

Looks like a great time! In Chapel Hill we always went out to "Topo" or Top of the Hill which is a brewery and everyone I know that loves beer swears by their old well white and their blueberry beer.
Also, I sent out your swap gift today! I can't wait to hear if you like it!

If you haven't been to Sweetwater in Atlanta, you should go! It is so much fun! They have live music and people bring chairs and just hang out before/after the tours!

Aww that's awesome! I took Pat to a brewery (Tallgrass in Manhattan, KS) as a Christmas-present-surprise. It was a super small one, but we had lots of fun and learned a lot! The big one around here is Boulevard Brewery in KC, but you have to make reservations like three months in advance. Yikes! I wasn't prepared for that, so we did a little local one instead. I don't drink beer, but I think Pat liked Tallgrass. He buys it every now and then ever since the tour!

Terrapin is my absolute favorite thing to do in Athens (other than a football game of course). OMG I am so jealous of you right now.

Loooove Terrapin! I've been once or twice and it was a great time :) Oddly enough, I haven't been to Sweetwater in Atlanta yet! That's on my bucket list for 2012 ;)

I love brewery tours! The Red Oak brewery isn't far from here, and it was fun to visit.
