Book Recommendations

At 5:00 today, my Spring Break will officially begin.
I'll be heading to the beach with Jasmine, planting my bottom in a chair, and reading to my little heart's content.

So, with that being said...
I need some book recommendations!
I've read all of Emily Giffin's books, the Hunger Games, Dragon Tattoo series... (I know those are frequently recommended)
so outside of THOSE... lay 'em on me!

I gotta load up my Kindle before we hit the road!

I just read "The Scent of Rain and Lightning" and it was SO good, I couldn't put it down! Also, if you liked Hunger Games, you might like the book "Matched". I just started it (after my 14 year old cousin recommended it to me, haha!) and I like it so far! Another good one I just read was "Save Me" by Lisa Scottoline. I feel like I could go on and on--I read all the time, haha..I hope you enjoy your break! :)

I like Megan's suggestion of "Lone Wolf" by Jodi Picoult. She researches all her books' topics and is an awesome writer! Some of her other books that are my faves are 19 Minutes, My Sister's Keeper, Handle with Care, House Rules.

Also, FYI....Emily Giffin has a new book coming out in July! :)

Another one that is on my list "Is Heaven For Real?" and Bossypants by Tina Fey.

Enjoy spring break!!

I recently finished Sophie Kinsella's new book "I've got your number" and it was a hilarious page turner! Any of her books won't let you down!!

American Wife, The Girls from Ames, and Firefly Lane.

Fun chicklit I love Chasing Harry Winston. Firefly Lane, but you might need some tissues so that might not be the best beach read. The Help, Water for Elephants, Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt, The Secret Life of Bees, and Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is the best book EVER!

I just finished "The Boleyn Inheritence" by Phililipa Gregory. The same author who wrote "The Other Boleyn Girl." SO GOOD! Sophia Kinsella's new book, "I've Got Your Number" is cute too. And the never fail tear jerker, Nicholas Sparks "The Best of Me"
Have a wonderful vacation. You certainly deserve it.

I am super late on commenting but I just started "The Memory Keepers Daughter" and I can't put it down! I also really like Chinese fiction....anything by Lisa See. I don't know what genres you really like but hopefully you found some good stuff to read! :)

Yeah, I know this is late and you're not on spring break anymore. But I read all of Lauren Conrad's LA Candy books on vacay one year. They were great beach reads! Or if you're looking for something heavier, David Baldacci and John Grisham are my faves. Hope you had a great spring break!! :)
