Where I Blog!

I've decided you should know where I blog!

I live in on campus apartments at my college, and they supply the rooms with desks and beds.

So this is where I do the majority of my blogging. 

I would really prefer sitting on the couch in the living room to blog, but our dumb apartment complex doesn't have wi-fi, and won't let you get your own router. LAME. 

So unless you buy a 200 ft ethernet cord, internet in the living room is a no go.

Now that my rant is over...

Here's my desk:

This is the top of my desk, I have my memo board filled with all sorts of junk. The A-200 memories is our "yearbook" signing page from my dorm hall last year! It's filled with all of our favorite memories. 

This is to the right of my desk, and it's one of my favorite quotes!

It actually was chosen as our class quote when I graduated from HS and it's a great motivator!

This is a sign my mama got me when I graduated high school a few years ago and sits on my desk. I love it! The same person who did the above quote also did this one, and she has a website so if you're interested I'll find the URL! 

and that's it!

Sorry that was probably insanely boring..

but listen friends, by the time I reach Friday I'm out of creative posts!

BUT, I am so excited to have reached 200 followers!! 

You guys seriously make my day!

I Need A Good Read!

I'm in need of some new reads!

Spring break starts next weekend and I'm in desperate need of some good books since I'll actually have time to read! So I need some recommendations!

I've been thinking about reading Water for Elephants,

have any of y'all read it? Recommend it?

Anyways.. what are some of y'alls suggestions for good reads?

 I'm hoping to hit the bookstore this weekend in preparation!

and lastly, thanks so much for all of your wonderful suggestions about the lipstick post from earlier! I think I'm going to take the plunge and hit up the make-up counter ASAP, but probably still use a gloss OVER the lipstick. I'm not ready to be SUPER bold yet. ;) But I'll keep you posted!

Lipstick: Do or Don't?

I need y'alls opinion.

My roommate/bff, Ally, and I have been discussing this a lot lately and I want to see what y'alls thoughts are.

Is it weird to wear lipstick when you're in your 20's?

 At what age do you start wearing lipstick?

My mama religiously applies her lipstick, but I don't know what age you START wearing it. 

And I'm kind of starting to think I want to pick me out a signature color ;)

Particularly because I'm obsessed with Sydney over at The Daybook and her gorgeous red lipstick. 

and I feel like it ties your make-up together. 

Anytime I have lip gloss on, my make-up just pops better. 

But lipgloss wears off so quickly.. so I need your thoughts.

Is lipstick a DO or a DON'T?

and if it's a do.. what is your favorite brand, color, etc.?
I need info!

Believe me, I took advantage of it! (And donated to Children's Miracle Network in the process) I went with my lovely friends Sarah and Patrick :) We have gotten to be such great buddies through the loads of Organic Chemistry we do together. And I love these 2! I never knew Chemistry could be such a blast until I met them!

Hope y'all have all had a much better Monday than me, I had 2 exams today: Organic Chemistry II & British Literature. Mondays are bad enough without an exam thrown in the mix. So basically, my brain is now mush. BUT, that doesn't mean I can't make time for the Bachelor! Can't wait for the tweeting to begin at 8pm EST!
