Safe Haven.. Check!

Well your girl has been WORTHLESS today.

Here's a schedule of events from my day:

9:00- Woke up

9:30- Opened Christmas Present from Cammie (practically part of our family)

10:00- started reading Safe Haven (The new Nicholas Sparks book)

12:15- Took a quick shower.. put pj's BACK on

12:30- Lunch

1:30- Facebook/Blogger Break

2:15- Back to reading my book until 6:00, at which point I finished it.

Yes, I did read ALL day. But that's what Christmas Break is for.. right?

It has just been wonderful not having ANY obligations for the first time all break.

So since my day has been so uneventful..

and Christmas is only 4 days away I thought I'd share with you some old Christmas pictures from back in the day... Enjoy!

Tonight the fam is going to watch Christmas Vacation.. it isn't Christmas time til we watch it in our household! :)

Nights of Lights!

Wow.. I let my blogging get away from me for a few days!

And Honestly, I don't even know what I've been doing! This time of year is just hectic I guess.

But I can tell you Ally and I have been doing a LOT of this...

I have an impressive collection of Sonic Holiday peppermints in my car right now from our 10,000,000 trips! And let me just say.. I wish they had frequent customer little punch cards because I would be earning a TON of free stuff.

Last night me, my friend PT, Ally, and Caleb all went to Lake Lanier's magical nights of lights. They have 7 miles of lights.. and it's pretty impressive. And PT's mom works there so we got in for free.. otherwise it would have been 60 bucks. Ridiculous! So we are VERY thankful we didn't have to pay!

At the end there's a gift shop with the most beautiful Christmas Trees.. and I got my mama THE Cutest ornament.. I need to take a picture of it.

And then today.. Mama, Mal and I went to Trader Joe's, Earthfare, and Yoforia because mama wanted to see what they were all about. We got some pretty cool stuff to try out over the holidays.. and that peanut butter frozen yogurt I got from yoforia was THE BOMB.

Then we came home.. and I cleaned and went to my room to put something away and saw this little precious thing curled up in my snuggie:

That's all for now.. I'm hoping to squeeze in a quick nap before heading to Grayson's to watch the Sing Off tonight!

Earthfare

This morning my sweet grandparents took me and Mal to IHOP for breakfast.

And let me just tell you... we got seated next to a SCREAMING 3 year old AND a mother who was screaming AT her 3 year old. And I hate to be judgmental, but don't act like you don't do it too, they were real trashy looking folks. She screamed at her kid that she would "beat his ass" if he didn't shut up. Woah. Pump the brakes. He's 3.. no 3 year old should be talked to like that EVEN if he is making me want to throw my glass of water out the window. So we proceeded to listen to her children (it is now plural because she had another small child who started chiming in to this screamfest) scream for the solid hour that we were there eating our pancakes. Sorry for the vent session but I was ILL.

So after that lovely pancake breakfast we headed to this organic grocery store called Earthfare:

It was my first time in an organic grocery store.. and I can NOT wait to go back! The food was so fresh.. and they had so many neat things. Get a load of these cranberries:

Yeah.. my mouth is WATERING.

They also had a cafe and coffee bar in there.. and when we walked in it smelled delicious! And I wish I could have taken a picture at all the neat food they had in the bakery and deli area.. but there were people standing around and I was a little too embarrassed to whip out my camera for some shots since I wasn't going to buy anything ;) But next time.. there will be pics. Because NEXT time I will be making some purchases! The foods a little more expensive.. but it's better for you.. so I'd just like to try it for a while and see how much of a difference it really makes.

As for my day...

I met Taylor and Grayson for lunch at a local restaurant I'd never been to, it was delicious! I'm definitely going to have to frequent that place more often. And then we went to Buckhead for some shopping and on our way home got stuck in STAND STILL traffic.. I repeat, STAND STILL.

This was our view for a good hour. I'm talking.. we were not even 100 yards past an exit.. and we had no way to get off. But we had a good time talking and catching up!

Tomorrow I'm going to breakfast with my grandparents.. and doing some Christmas shopping and then I'm going to meet another friend from highschool for lunch. AND then I'm taking my sweet Emily a milkshake because she had her wisdom teeth taken out today. And THEN.. hopefully sitting on my couch and not moving for a while :)
