Ben Rector Concert

Ben Rector came to the Georgia Theatre this week for a Concert,
and could it have made my little heart any happier??
nope.

I've been looking forward to seeing him in concert since about this time last year, when Ally and I went to Atlanta for his concert. At that time the venue we saw him in was super small, and we ended up getting to meet him after the show. Not so much this time...

This time it was packed out, and a bigger venue for sure. It's amazing to see how much he's grown over the past year. No one knew his songs at last year's concert... this one, everyone was singing along. I just love it! He's up and coming my friends, if you don't know him... check him out NOW. And you can thank me later. ;)

It was also wonderful to run into these lovely ladies, blog friends turned in-real-life friends. Jessica and Jamie are THE sweetest.

It was such a great show! Can't wait to see Ben Rector again come Spring... when he hopefully comes to visit Athens again (fingers. crossed.)

TGIF!!

The name's Rita..

Last night was a MUCH needed night out.. after having one of the worst weeks of my life (which has gotten even worse today). But I'm not going to complain about it, because I've done enough already. :) Anyways.. Phi Mu had an invite PHIesta social.. So we had to think of creative outfits.. We considered being all of the taco fixings.. but no one wants to dress as ground beef.. that's disgusting! and then I thought a pinata would be adorable.. but how do you do that? so after much deliberation we decided to be Margaritas and the guys dress as Jose Cuervo.

We used sparkly white pipe cleaners as our rock salt and glued them around the neck line of our tank tops.. and then to top it all off we made limes and attached them to headbands. It was a success! :)

Low Country Boil

Tonight Phi Mu and Sigma Chi hosted a Low Country Boil on our campus drill field. It was so much fun, and the weather was just right! And the food... DELICIOUS! :)

Well thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! I've had about all I can handle this week! :) Now time to go for a quick run and then attack the homework.
