Homecoming

My beautiful little sister, Mallory, made Senior Homecoming Court at the high school.. and looked absolutely stunning on the field Friday night (If I do say so myself).

Senior year is such a blast, and Homecoming festivities were one of my favorite things, so it's been so fun to live vicariously through Mal as she goes through all of it this year. All of the girls had gorgeous dresses... it really made me miss those dress shopping days!

We're so proud of our little Mal!!

Happy November 1st y'all!

Where has this year gone?!

Woah I feel Old.

Last Friday night was the Homecoming Football game at my Alma Mater.

My hometown is pretty small.. so Homecoming Football games are a community event. Since my friend Elise's little sister was on Court, along with some other girls we know, we headed to the game to show our support.

Y'all. I felt SO dang OLD. I swear I didn't look that little when I was in high school.. just saying. Those kids are so tiny!

 The dresses that are in style right now are blowing my mind with all of the sparkly, flashy, blingy sequins. I want to go dress shopping. 

 The game was pretty boring, seeing as how the school hasn't won a football game since I was like a sophomore or junior in HS basically.. and that was years ago. 

BUT, we got to hang out with people we hadn't seen in a while so that was fun!

 and the next day was the Homecoming dance so I got to see my sister off with her cute date ;)

 Call me crazy, but I miss homecoming days! I loved getting all dressed up for dances.. and the butterflies while you wait for your date to come pick you up!

hope y'alls week is off to a great start! I'm crossing my fingers I have time to blog this week. My life needs to SLOOOOOOW it. DOWWWWWN. because this is not working for me. ;)

  

weekend recap

Friday-

Me & Ally went to Athens to meet ST & CAT for our double date. We ate at Carraba's and then went back to ST's to watch Transformers 2.. SUCH a boy movie. But we had a blast!

Saturday-

Me and Mama went shopping for a game day dress for next weekend, ST & CAT are taking me and Ally to the GA/FL game so I was in desperate need of a cute game day dress! We went to Francesca's and found THE dress. And I was going to post a picture but I couldn't find one on their website.. so check back next week for pictures from the game :) I also got a cute ruffled red top from white house black market AND a houndstooth dress too. Gotta love sales! Then Saturday night was Mal's homecoming dance and she looked gorgeous AS usual.

Sunday-

ST's sweet little self wanted to take me out to dinner one more time this weekend before I headed back to school. We went to the country club to eat, which I'd never been to, and I had no clue what to wear because all of my clothes are up at school. I only brought home 2 cute outfits for the weekend because I wasn't expecting to do anything Sunday. So me and mama ran around the house trying to find something appropriate to wear.. all my dresses were too summery and then everything else was from 9th grade. Ally was texting me during all of this and stressing out for me! haha FINALLY we found some old khaki pants and a cardigan in the VERY back of my closet from my highschool days. The whole thing was STRESSFUL. But it all came together.. and we had a really good time :)

and now.. it's back to reality.. studying and studying my life away.. but counting down the days til we leave for jacksonville! :)
