Football

Saturday was the last home game of the season...
which always makes me sad.
Athens on game day is my favorite place to be, and this weekend we played Tech... and the Dawgs did us proud. ;)

It was a noon game, which is kind of the pits. But we made the best of it... mimosas are kind of my  new favorite thing now.

Saturday night we went downtown with friends and had a blast, as per usual.

Now why do weekends ever have to end??
The countdown to Christmas break has officially started... because I'm pretty much dreading class tomorrow morning.

Go Dawgs!

Saturday the Dawgs took on Buffalo.... and we sweat at least a gallon.
It was SO hot and miserable, but wonderful to be back in football season!

We had great seats in the student section, and great entertainment from drunk guys around us. Drunk people always love befriending the innocent bystanders, do they not??

and we had fun tailgating with all of our friends beforehand of course!

Now if the temperatures will get a liiiiittle cooler, the games will be even better! Because having to unstick your dress from your body every time the Dawgs score gets old! ;)

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, and your week is off to a great start!

Go Dawgs!

Saturday was Game Day in Athens!
and Game Days make my heart so very happy.
Getting dressed in red and black to cheer on the Dawgs is the perfect way to spend a Saturday with friends.

Ally and I headed out for the Miss. State game and met up with our blogger turned real life friends: Jessica and Jamie to tailgate!

The weather was chilly that morning.. but once we got inside the stadium it was PERFECT. We couldn't have asked for a better day Between the Hedges.
and I got to rock my red cowboy boots ;)
During the game Hairy Dawg (The mascot) crowd surfed through the student section.. and it was just our luck  that he came right through where we were standing. Like WE could lift him up through the bleachers.. Ally went running away as soon as he came.. and luckily some guys came and hoisted him up. It was hilarious!
It was a great game! The Dawgs pulled out a win and we all went home happy! (and exhausted!)

Until Next Time,
