That I've joined a small group at church and we're all meeting up tomorrow night! All I've heard is great things about people who have joined small groups, so I'm extremely excited to get involved with group link at church. My group seems awesome so far! So it should be a great way to not only meet new people, but grow closer to God in the process. :)

I got Ben Rector tickets with Ally last night!! I'm so excited! He's going to be in town the week of my birthday so it's going to be EXTRA special. ;)

 That we're one step closer to the weekend.. and it's a long weekend at that! I can't wait to go to the lake to spend time with friends and family. 

and I'll really be loving it when I'm not feeling under the weather.

Feeling Under the Weather

I hate getting sick.

for reals.

And this week.. I've been sick.

Not to mention, now I work in a pharmacy. So it doesn't exactly look good to be wiping your nose and sneezing when you hand people their medicine. I've gotten my kleenex, some nasal decongestant, and plenty of sleep so I'm PRAYING I feel better before I go to work tomorrow. 

On top of feeling sick, I've got a ton of Calc II homework without any clue how to do it. Yes, finding a tutor is on my to-do list..

I feel like every post needs a picture mid-way through..

This is from a few weeks ago when sweet Ally came to visit me! 

Okay back on track...  All of my classes have online web assigned homework. Can I start by saying that is a PAIN. It costs so much to sign up with these websites.. forget saving money by getting your books off amazon, because each site costs like 50 bucks to register. THEN.. they are so particular about the answers you submit. I swear my Calc online site would not accept my answer and I had it right.. it took several emails between me and my professor to get it to submit. That makes me ILL. 

So needless to say, this online homework CRAP takes HOURS. To the point that I'm sick of looking at numbers before I even have the time to study.

Sorry, it's been a rough day.

But on a more positive note.. We sang this song last week at Wesley Foundation and I can't get enough. It's so beautiful.

My life has been crazy.. but I actually have TIME to do a quick post with Jamie for WILW!

Today I'm loving...

That we finally have internet and cable!! After 3 weeks without it.. it is SUCH a blessing to have access to internet without having to drive to jittery joe's. Uverse is amazing. end of story.

 Yes, that would be a picture of my computer ON the internet, IN my apartment. Can you sense my excitement?

 Tonight I'm going to Wesley Foundation with my friend Elise! We went last week and it made me feel so refreshed. I love a midweek picker-upper.. and there's nothing better than a little bit of worship with great company to get me through the second half of my week!

Jeff Lewis. 

I'm sorry, but it is a CRYING shame this man is gay. 

He is hysterical and I just love him to pieces. Flipping Out is on our On Demand and I can't get enough of it!!! 

 and the houses he does are incredible. 

So how have y'all been? I hope to ONE day have enough time to go back through and read everything.. but my google reader has 500+ things on it.. and that makes me have trouble breathing from anxiety. Looks like I'll have to start fresh because I just KNOW I'll never catch up! ;)

Day One. Success.

Day one of classes = Success.

That's right.

I survived crossing the 5 lane highway to the city bus stop. (Looking somewhat like a Frogger game dodging the cars and school buses) Made it to campus, to all of my classes, met a cute boy in physics, and made it back to my apartment after class. Oh how I loooove being a Georgia bulldog. 

Now I'm just mooching off of jittery joe's wireless since we have exactly ONE Week until our cable is installed!!! Holllaaaaa!!! So I'm trying to schedule some blogposts for this week ;) 

Hope all of you had a great first day back! (and if you haven't started back yet.. you stink! I miss summer already!)
