Embarrassing Moments.

I know it happens to everyone..
Friday night my sister, mama, and I went to DQ for a blizzard after some shopping and as we were getting out of our car and walking towards DQ I recognized a car in the drive-thru. 
 It was a red Hummer.. and only one girl I went to HS with drives a red hummer in our town. 
So naturally.. I waved like crazy with a huge smile on my face trying to say hey!!!

IT WASN'T HER!

 It was 2 boys who gave me this look like, "We doooon't Knoooow Yoouuuuu" along with a half-hearted wave. Cue the beet red face. Awkward turn of the head. And immediate power walk to get into DQ as quickly as possible. Embarrassed. 

And I don't know if you are an Ellen fan or not.. but either way you need to see [preferably own] her Here & Now stand-up DVD. It's absolutely hilarious, and one of the things on there is this exact moment. 
So without further adieu.. here's the clip and the exact way I felt.

    Ive definitely done this. I waved emphatically at a guy once who I thought was a friend of a friend's with a serious attitude of 'why are you not saying hello to me we have totally met before' and it was not him. so embarrassing! but a good laugh afterward!

    i LOVE ellen! haha i'm so sorry, it is so embarrassing when things like that happen! but seriously.. who else drives a red hummer in winder?! i completely understand how you'd make that mistake! haha
